Zimbabwe Chamber of Infor mal Economy Associations (ZCIEA) applauds Formalisation Strategy Consultations by the Government of Zimbabwe.  This formalisation strategy consultations is taking place across the country through the Ministry of Public Service, Labour, and Social Welfare from the 22nd of November 2021 to the 10th of December 2021. ZCIEA acknowledges recognition and special invitation by the Ministry of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare to participate meaningfully as a key stakeholder in this process.

ZCIEA sets a five-year target plan 2022 to 2026

Zimbabwe Chamber of Informal Economy Associations (ZCIEA) newly elected leaders have a demanding task to fulfil the set five-year target plan. This five-year plan is heading towards achieving self-sufficiency, organisational sustainability, development, empowerment advocacy and membership representation and growth towards a united transformation.

Gwanda District now Recognises ZCIEA operations in Gwanda

Gwanda District now recognizes the operations of ZCIEA in Gwanda Territory. This recognition came as a result of intensified engagements with the Municipality of Gwanda and the District Development Coordinator's Office in a bid to provide a conducive working environment and decent livelihoods for Informal workers and traders in Gwanda.
