Zimbabwe Chamber of Informal Economy Associations (ZCIEA) applauds the Municipality of Gwanda’s effort in approving the site for Informal workers and traders to collectively construct a food market. This outcome is a result of a Memorandum of Understanding between ZCIEA and the Municipality of Gwanda which aims at improving the working conditions of informal workers and traders in Gwanda. The approval of the site came as a relief to informal traders who lost their previous trading spaces and posts due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
